Founded in 1951, Tweave has been privately owned until the recent acquisition by Gehring Textiles in September of 2008. It was the first weaving mill in the world to produce spandex containing fabrics and, for over 30 years, has been primarily dedicated to their production. Today, we consider ourselves the forerunners in stretch woven technology.
