The source for fashion fabrics, women’s apparel and home decorating started as a supplier to the over-the-counter retail segment of the market in 1959. In 1979 Harry Miller, the company’s founder, handed the reins over to his son Jerry, the current president, who transformed Hamil into Canada’s most progressive and successful textile converting company. Establishing an in-house studio staffed with experienced textile designers and merchandisers, Hamil quickly earned a reputation within the industry for its original designs, trend forecasting, and presentations tailored to the industry.
