About

Biovation II, LLC. manufactures green and sustainable, melt-blown extruded, non-woven fabric using a biodegradable biopolymer derived from corn starch, called polylactic acid (PLA). Leveraging our knowledge base of polymer science, we possess the ability to manipulate the non-woven fabric properties such as enhancing the hydrophobicity or hydrophilicity of the fabric, as well as integrating antimicrobial technology for infection control applications.æOur product focus is based on the following three areas: specialty niche roll goods, advanced end-product materials, and healthcare products. With laser focus and commitment to the above market applications Biovation has developed products that will fulfill needs ranging from active footwear drying to the prevention of cross contamination of blood pressure cuffs; all of which incorporate our antimicrobial non-woven fabric platform technology.æ
