We understand the needs of designers and our goal is to help you execute your ideas in the most practical, affordable, and efficient manner. We can help you with the entire process of apparel manufacturing from concept stage to completion. We specialize in pattern making, sample making, sourcing and production. No project is too big or too small. We also offer consulting services to help you with your specific needs. Our studio began in 2005 as a young contemporary designer collection selling to high end boutiques and department stores such as Barneys and Saks. We started with small orders producing small batches of 10, and eventually grew our production to over 1,000 pieces per month domestically. In 2012, we decided to refocus our business and use our knowledge to help other designers and entrepreneurs.

I made a few shirt samples end of last year that turned out great. I got some orders and went back for a small batch production. The production process was smooth and quick. Annie was easy to work with and professional. I am looking forward to grow my business and come back for more production soon!!
I highly recommend Annie for sample making as well as production. We did active swimwear samples and small production together (240 pieces in total). The process was smooth, we did not have any major hiccups and everything was accomplished in a timely manner. Annie and the team followed the instructions and pre production notes very thoroughly. This was our first time working together but we are very pleased with the quality of their sewing and will continue working together.
I am thrilled with how my samples turned out!! I was worried my sketches were not clear but LC was able to interpret the designs. They look exactly as how I imagined. I highly recommend working with them.

I needed a special product made for the holiday season and reached out to LC about making it for us. I worked with a single seamstress last year and we needed to consolidate and speed up the process a bit. I sent supplies for them to make a sample, they made a gorgeous sample, we agreed on the price and I sent them everything they would need. After they received the fabric and supplies, I suddenly was told that they wanted to charge me $5 more for each piece. I felt like I was in between a rock and a hard place seeing as they had everything -- after sorting it, they did agree to keep the original price discussed. However, this is when I believe they just decided to not care at all about my project. I received all of the pieces (about 250) 3 weeks later and they could not have been further from the sample. The fabric was crooked on several of them, they were different sizes, the hooks were different lengths, a couple of them were sewn backwards, there were different colored threads used that are clearly exposed, some of the seams are coming apart. There wasn't an ounce of care put into the pieces. I'm now paying someone else to fix them, and while LC did offer to fix them I simply don't trust them to do it. Make sure you know what you're getting into before working with them.

Kelly, The sample you sent us and vintage rug fabric provided for the duplicate sample we made were very different from what we received for production. After asking several times about the actual fabric we would receive, we received from you a box of unclean and extremely thick vintage rug scraps to turn into Christmas stockings. The scraps you sent were too small and unevenly cut. Therefore, the pattern of the stocking would not fit, and some stockings ended up being shorter or slightly off grain. We would have never agreed to the work if we knew how thick the rug fabric was and the condition in which it would arrive. We broke many sewing needles working on this project. I explained everything to you as we went along, but you refused to take our input. Furthermore, you did not send the project when you said you would and then expected us to rush everything for your deadline.
Annie and the team are a gem of a resource. They are agile, quick, and responsive; most importantly produce at a very high standard. I cannot recommend them enough. They are the reason I was able to go to market and sell my product to customers. I am grateful for Annie and the team and I can't recommend them more highly. + it's also so cool that our product can be made in New York City!
Annie's expertise and vast knowledge made the process easy to create a product from idea to sample. As an emerging designer, Annie understood the issues we as new designers face when working with manufacturers and made me comfortable to entrust her with our sample making. We received our garments back with a quick turnaround time and the garments came back exactly how we wanted. We look forward to working with Annie and her production team for a long time. I highly recommend Annie to any brand looking to start and grow their business.
Annie with LC Workshop was quick to respond to my initial inquiry. Upon meeting and laying out my vision for the piece I was looking to have made, she was very honest and straight forward about what may and may not work, and gave advice and alternatives frequently. We complete a first sample, made corrections where I wanted, and the second/last sample turned out just as i envisioned it when I first sketched it out over a year ago. So grateful to her and her expertise. I just set up another meeting with her to discuss the creation of several more pieces. I will use her services exclusively for the foreseeable future and I certainly recommend others do the same. Thank you so much Annie & LC Workshop!
I have been working with LC Workshop for almost a year now and have been very happy with the results. I've had to go through less iterations of samples to get to the desired result - much more efficient than places I've worked with in the past. I also use them for consultation on the business and operational side of starting up my line - from the types and size of packaging to fittings and the sampling process. Highly recommend.
